Hoummous & Flaked Dulse

Hoummous is very easy to prepare and just wonderful for a snack with crackers and vegetables. We added flaked Dulse to give the chickpea-based dip extra flavour and nutrition. We hope that you will enjoy this recipe!

 

SEAWEED USED: FLAKED DULSE

RECIPE SERVES 6 - 8

INGREDIENTS

  • 250g chickpeas
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 3 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 4 tsp tahini
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 - 2 tsp flaked Dulse

 

    TO PREPARE THE HOUMMOUS

    1. Rinse the chickpeas
    2. Mix all the ingredients and slowly pour in the oil while the food processor runs.
    3. Add some extra seasoning, oil or water if needed.
